Starting in April 2024 we will continue our Learn to Play Lacrosse program. This program is designed for new boys and girls (Pre K to 2nd grade) who want to try the sport of Lacrosse in a fun, non- competitive, skill building environment.  We will teach beginner players the basic fundamentals and concepts of the sport through a variety of games, drills and interactive lessons. No equipment is required and we will provide sticks if your child does not have one. If your ready to try the Fastest growing sport in the U.S. and have some fun see the details below.

DETAILS: 

Where: North Andover High School, 430 Osgood St. North Andover, MA 01845. LTP will take place on the practice turf field in the stadium complex.

When: 11am -12pm

Dates: 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 6/2 *We will not play during the Memorial Day weekend on 5/26

Cost: $95 ($80 for LTP + $15 for Insurance)

Registration

Registration will open on Jan 3rd, 2024. Click the Register button on the top right of our website at NALAX.net. If you are new to our program you will need to set up a Demosphere account by following the prompts. Once you have set up your account you will be able to select the Learn to Play registration to sign your child up. If you have any questions please email president@nalax.net

Weather: Practice may be canceled due to the weather since we will be playing outdoors. If weather should be uncooperative any given day we will notify all participants via email on Sunday mornings before 9am. 

FAQ

1. Does my child need equipment?

No. We will provide your child with a stick if he/she does not have one.

2. What should my child wear?

In 2024 we will be playing outside on a turf field. Please dress accordingly for the weather. Children can wear either sneakers or cleats.

3. Will you be using real Lacrosse Balls?

No. The program will use a special SOFT lacrosse ball and tennis balls.

4. Can parents help out?

YES. Parent participation is highly encouraged!
